i find the tape that i have lost 2 times. its this new thing from djs
kit and warhol (2 nice fellows, both named chris, from socal).
so, i pop it in yesterday, and groove out to some nice jungly stuff on the
kit side of the tape while driving to and from work and places between.
pretty impressive.
then the tape flips, and the mood changes in a big way.. i get treated to
squarepusher, autechre (some wicked tortoise remix), spritiualized (which
hit me right at the most amazing moment, and a beautiful, beautiful
bassland song called 'the blue and purple starship of trust."
this tape is a keeper -- i quite enjoy the contrast of the 2 sides.

my damn 'no future' package came in (think christian vogel, si begg, neil
landstrum, spymania, etc). i have been waiting since september for this
glorious thing.. inside? the 'noodles' 2x12" and the trash2 cdr.
i have yet to hear 'noodles' -- but trash2 is soooo much fun its not even
funny. all the no future kids going to town and goofing off and fucking
shit up. you idm and jungle and hardcore and noise kids HAVE to check
this out. something for everyone! not quite up to par with trash 1
though. but damn if it isnt fun to groove out with oscar the grouch,
chuck manson, and some girlie that sounds like leslie rankin (silverfish,
ruby, pigface).
