just got the new din record by "arovane". idmers will love this. similar to older autechre/amber/incunambula stuff with a bit more chain reaction feel. much slower and less industrial than the previous din releases to date. nice synths which the previous releases did not have. not as dark either. highly recommended. there are 4 tracks each over 6 min. pick it up if you see it. got mine for 8.99 ------ also purchased: hallucinator - hallucinator 12" (chain reaction) : ambient low pulsing bass. not as beat heavy as previous cr releases, a bit similar to monolake without the defined beats. still pretty good. theo parish - FIRSTfloor cd : so i picked this up on a whim for some detroit house? its' really good though and if this is what people are calling detroit house, i like it a lot. minimal rythms with nice housey samples fading in and out. and then add in the excellent detroit synth sounds and it beats any house record i have thus far. stephen :::::::::::::::::: stephen.holland.chang :::::::::::::::::: stephen@holoscope.com :::::::::::::::::: holoscope.com : symbiosis :::::::::::::::::: www.holoscope.com

Was that the 1st or the 2nd Arovane ? The second has a small 'intro'-track making a total of 5 tracks. Whatever, get both if you can. okay, how many DIN releases are there.. i have 3 (pole, arovane, and one other i forget the name of :) i asked about din at the record store i was at yesterday, but the buyer had no idea (though he ordered the pole for the store on din?). fyi, the store i was in is called "higher source" -- and right now they have a sale on some good stuff.. some christian vogel, surgeon, autechre, mike dred (on r&s) -- so, if youre in socal- you might wnat to check it out. chris.

Well that can be a little tricky because there were two other Din-related labels called Traktor and Dynamo. Here are the details: Traktor: . Traktor: Master Traktor 12" (Traktor) .
