1- anyone have the bjork remixes? heard there were two, one on cd and one on vinyl. heard the cd mix was available domestically for us trapped in the US. anyone know the status of the vinyl? UK release only? available domestic? would appreciate any reviews... already know its good though :) 2- new matmos 12"... any reviews? have it on the way but no table to spin it on... would love to hear people's impressions so i might let it eat away at my soul for the next month. 3- new disc. its out there, right? recall some really positive reviews regarding it, but have not actually seen it, in stores or online, for sale. i can play cds now, so i want it. brap@sonic.net icq_12645306 http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ (now with live visuals (cam.html)) coming sooner than later: sfwd0004 - pre-mil·len·ni·um soundscapes 12" our future has never been so frightening: http://williamshatner.com/

There are two mixes. The weaker of the two (although it's still pretty good) appears on one of the three UK CD singles from "Alarm Call" along with a radio edit and some other mix. BOTH of the mixes appear on one of the FIVE(!!!) UK 12" singles for "Alarm Call", with a Beck mix on the other side. Dunno the status of a North American release or which mixes it'll have since there are something like 20 to choose from scattered over the eight releases. Greg

i listened to it briefly. to be honest, i was disappointed.. not bad, but not quite as mindblowing as their cds.. so in comparison, i was left with much to be desired. but that was just an initial listen.. chris.

I definitely have to disagree. It is a swirl of sounds. For unkown reasons it reminded me of a psychadelic slim westerns (by o yuki conjugate). One of the best releases this year. -daniel On Mon, 7 Dec 1998, zimbo wrote:
