Hi, Irene. Daniel Miller is the guy who started Mute Records. He's done a ton of engineering, mixing, and production. Did his own classic "Warm Leatherette". Back in the day, the first name you'd think of after Depeche Mode in a word association game would be Daniel Miller because he's done so much stuff with them music wise (might have even been the guy who discovered them). Gareth Jones has done a ton of engineering, producing, and mixing too, not sure if he's released any of his own music, though. Hope this helps. Andrew Irene McC wrote:

Daniel Miller also released a livealbum with The Normal. Worth checking out. It's a one-sided 12" on RoughTrade. He is also the guy behind "Silicon Teens" and worked with Duet Emmo. he discovered Depeche Mode when they opened for Fad Gadget in London at the Bridgehouse. Gareth Jones was the "Tonmeister" at the Berlin-based Hansa Studios where Depeche Mode recorded from and mixed. Daniel Miller is God :) Thaddi Andrew Duke Cognition Audioworks wrote:
