Anyone have some information about JB/DT/F3 to share? I've got C'est Tres Bong, and have made the connection to Dub Tractor and Future 3, but don't know much else about 'em. I found a little bit on the web, but it's in Danish (?) and doesn't tell me much... .John.

all of those are the various style and personnel combinations of thomas knak, and anders and maarten remmer. thomas knak also dj's and produces under the 'opiate' moniker, and anders does housey stuff as 'jet.' i haven't seen any new stuff from james bong since that album, but the first 12's are great low-key triphop freakouts, with distinct edges toward wacky melodies and beatwork. all of their projects are wrapped up with the april records posse (www.vow.dk), and the best way to comprehend this incestuous amalgam is by picking up the 'boredom is deep and mysterious' compilations on that label. the first and second comps are great ambient electro and triphop collections, while i've heard the 3rd leans more towards the jungly side of things (hey, but who doesn't these days?). eric
