Hey all... since we're discussing Plastikman, what is the Novamute Kompilation like? Is the music on Novamute (the label) for the most part Consumed-esque or something different? -d From idm-owner-idmr4real=hotmail.com@hyperreal.org Fri Sep 18 08:59:55 1998

NovaMute is a very consistent label for quality techno & tech-house. The deep techno style of Consumed is not really the standard NovaMute sound. In fact, there really isn't a standard NM sound aside from solid dancefloor-friendly tracks. NovaMute has released records from Luke Slater, Steve Stoll, Darren Price, Space DJZ, Emmanual Top, Joey Beltram (JB3), Mark Bell (Fawn), as well as Plastikman, 3Phase, 3mb feat Juan Atkins, and early Juno Reactor. The Nova- Mute Kompilation 2xcd is a good place to start if you want to sample what this label has to offer. Here is the tracklisting for sed release: Kompilation comp 2xcd (NovaMute) Tracks: . Luke Slater: Are You There? . Fawn: Vengeance . Darren Price: Airspace . JB3: Forklift (Luke Slater Rmx) . Blunted Boy Wonder: Metropolis . Speedy J: Pure Energy Rmx . Emmanuel Top: Lobotomie . Plastikman: Sickness . Darren Price: Blueprints . JB3: Curb (Dave Angel Rmx) . Aftrax: The Mask (Swept Q) . Luke Slater: Freak Funk . 3Phase: Kong . Blunted Boy Wonder: Circuit Sex . Space DJz: AK47 . Speedy J: Patterns Rmx -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

Mostly floor-friendly minimal techno with Steve's signiture acidic and melodic highlights. Probably not a release for the idm-minded listeners. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

This entire album "Under the Flightpath" is excellent and seems sadly underrated. Re Steve Stoll, Lance wrote:
