Not that we need another posting on this topic but I believe the Subtropic LP is an
early example of this genre ca. HAB I. I'd say it's definitely the first long player
in the category.
The recent Carpet Bomb comp could receive this label but it's much better crafted
than its potential siblings. Great stuff.
