i think you're a bit confused, there's a disc by Soft Ballet called "forms" and it has remixes by the artists you mentioned above, and its pretty good, but some of the artists seemed like they didn't give it all their efforts to do the remix, with the autechre track making it worth the purchase alone, being one of the most amazing autechre tracks i've ever heard. ok, and THEN, there is another artist by the name of Nav Katze with two remix discs, called never mind the distortion 1 and never mind the distortion 2. the first one has two aphex remixes, a submarine remix, and some other stuff i can't remember right now. the second disc which is very hard to find has a autechre remix, seefeel remix, u-ziq remix, gentle people remix, sun electric remix and some disjecta (mark clifford) remixes, which go tap-tap-tap, interesting none the less... i can kinda see how the two can get mixed up, nav katze and soft ballet are both japanese groups with vocals that somehow wanted to get the aphex/Ae/u-ziq camps to remix their stuff. oh, and soft ballet has another remix disc, that came out before forms and has remixes by caustic window, emf, pwei, jesus jones, adamski, fluke, 808 state, higher intelligence agency, orbital, and some other dancey acts. about half of the disc's remixes are unlistenable, as you can tell by the remixers... code c007 on a canon pc-720 on the secondary led readout on the light regulator board means that the fuser film needs to be changed and the bias voltage needs to be cleared from the main board's memory. -kiya i am a copier. we are not all copiers.

Erm, are you sure? I have one that looks older, it's called "Alter Ego", and is more in the "EBM" style: 1) Ego Dance (remixed by Fortran 5) 2) Body to Body (remixed by 808 State) 3) Final (remixed by Graham Bonnet) 4) Twist of Love (remixed by Nightmares on Wax) 5) Brilliant Fault and Sky Was Blue (remixed by LFO) 6) Texture (remixed by Jah Wobble) 7) (Trip the) Needle - Parts 1 and 2 (remixed by Adrian Sherwood) 8) No Pleasure (remixed by The Grid) 9) America (remixed by Renegade Soundwave) 10) Midara (remixed by Cabaret Voltaire) 11) Body to Body (vox mix) (remixed by 808 State) 12) Brilliant Fault and Sky Was Blue (ambient mix) (remixed by LFO) 1992, ALFA Records, ALCA-423. Wish it was 1/3 as good as the lineup would suggest it could have been. if you heard of another with Caustic Window et al, that would make three Soft Ballet remix discs. no. there was definitely another soft ballet remix cd called twist & turn. it featured remixes by all the above artists. i believe it came out in 1993 or 1994. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
