Hello, I tried asking this question in rec.music.ambient but no-one seemed to know the answer so I thought I would try here. I have seen a CD around by the Black dog called 'Valley of Jive'. Is this by *the* black dog or someone of the same name? The reason why I am asking is because it doesn't appear on any black dog discographies that I've seen. Thanks, Melinda

I don't think it's the same Black Dog... never heard of such a release, didn't see it in the list of releases that Ken once posted here, nor in the many excellent discogs out there. Unless it's brand spanking new, but we'd probably have heard about it by now... But there is a movie out right now called Black Dog, which is about the band. Patrick Swayze turns in a sensitive portrayal of Ken, while Meatloaf is dead-on as Andy. ;) James Jung-Hoon Seo // Oracle Tools Fundamental Technologies Group (650) 506-3829 // jseo@us.oracle.com Endless cuts / Paid in nuts

There is a Swedish group called Black Dog too, they are making rock music. Maybe it's their album. ? Cheers /Henrik
