i attended the local show of the flaming lips "radio box experiment" with
their CDs (they also brought numerous tapes, cds, and DATs...along with
players for them all) and the group "orchestrated" the performance with
audience members acting as performers of their instrument...be it:
boombox, walkman with speakers attached, laptop computer with a DAT player
connected
to say the least it was interesting..... about 1/2 soudned good...and
1/2 well not so great....but overall it was a fun time (i know some of
you out there actually like to enjoy themselves once in a while).....
chekc it out if the tour comes to your area.
