ok i know lance weighed in w/ some releases by the pole guy, i think some singles under his own name/different than pole. the pole track on "deutscher funk" is excellent crackly echo'd techno dub. or something. anyway in the b'day issue of jockey slut, there was a review of a full length cd titled "1", but i've been unable to find it listed anywhere. they also reviewed i-f's "fucking consumer" which i don't think is out yet, so the pole cd may be in the same bucket. anyone know anything? release date? i wouldn't be averse to getting the rest of the discography again if its still available. off-list if repetition is problematic. -martin

As far as i know, the only Stefan Betke has only released that one Pole 12" on the Kiff lable. Another Pole ep and a full length will also be released on the Kiff label soon. There is also another Pole 12" due out in a week or two on the Din label. So, happily, we can expect more Pole very soon. Regarding the reviews you see in the magazines, the press usually get promo copies of upcoming releases a month or so in advance of the release. The album "1" will be out by the end of May of Kiff - it's excellent stuff. 6 new tracks, plus the Kiff EP. Thaddi
