Damn good, real damn good... this briefly describes my initial reaction to
Top's "Asteroids." Wow. I keep thinking that if he and Richie Hawtin got
together and collaborated on something it would certainly be better than
damn good. Anyway, has he got anything else of this calibre out??
Changing subjects quickly....picked up the Max Tundra 12" yesterday and
after a few listens, I probably should listen to it a few more times. I say
this because a review of Mr. Ben Jacob's enigmatic style shall not be an
easy feat. I am definately intrigued.
So the Orb to replace Photek. Hmmmm. Yeah I like it, in fact I can't
complain about that at all. The brighter side of the 'disappointment' might
be that if Rupert comes back again maybe he'll play live instead, eh? I
think I'd go silly if that ever happened.
