environment: akg headphones at work, while staring at mind-numbing work on a crt arovane. atol scrap. din This release reminds me of everything i love about the softer side of idm. Every track has a definite rhythm and direction. The sound design is simple yet deliberate. Don't expect to hear sounds you've never heard, but rather music from someone who uses the current (popular) vocabulary of sounds to their fullest potential. Most importantly to my ears are the simple melancholic melodies and harmonies that pervade just about every track. bleepbloopradio presents: searching for soul in the funk ambulance CDR Simply put, this mix CD blew me away; 74 minutes of blistering, sexy, deep, sophisticated, house music. Flawlessly mixed, Searching for Soul... takes you on a long trip through today's grown-up house with a healthy nod to its roots. If you're drawn to the finest in funky rhythm guitars, groovy bass lines, and horn blasts anchored by a house beat, do not miss this release. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
