I've been getting alot of questions from people regarding the upcoming
Aphex Twin tour. Let me try to awnser some of the questions here so I
don't have to re-type the same info to 20 different people.
Fresh's Aphex Twin September '97 Tour FAQ (based on e-mail recieved by
me):
Q. Is Aphex coming to (your home town)?
A. The dates I posted previsouly are all the information I have
regarding stops on the Aphex Twin tour. The information was obtained
from the Virgin Records US website. Once again, here are the dates for

Q. Who is he playing with?
A. Aphex Twin is being joined by The Sneaker Pimps and The Crystal
Method on most, if not all dates. I cannot confirm that he will be
joined by both on EVERY date or that other people might be performing in
addition to those three. In fact, I can't 100% confirm that Aphex
himself will be playing every one of those dates, but it certainly
appears at this point that he will be. Keep checking www.warp-net.com .
Q. Where is Snow Valley? (the location of Organic 97)
A. Snow Valley is located in Running Springs, near Lake Arrowhead and
Big Bear. It's 2 to 2 1/2 hours from Los Angeles depending on traffic.
The info line for Organic 97 is (213)960-5077. If you plan to stay in
Running Springs after the event (probably not a bad idea if you've been
enjoying yourself at the festival) be sure to book a room at one of the
many motels in the area a couple weeks in advance. Last year it was a
bit difficult finding lodgings as it got closer to the day of the show.
Q. Who else is playing at Orgainc?
A. The only names I have heard at this piont are Aphex, The Sneaker
Pimps, and The Crystal Method. I am sure many more big name
'electronica' acts will be performing. The full line up was supposed to
be announced this week. The Orange County Register today confirmed that
Aphex and The Sneaker Pimps will defintely be performing.
Q. Ticketmaster doesn't have any of the dates you posted listed. Are you
sure he's really playing?
A. Ticketmaster doesn't have all the dates listed yet but don't fret, it
will still be a few weeks before tickets for some of the events go on
sale. Keep checking, I believe Tickmaster updates their computers with
new events on Tuesday's (or is it Thursday?). At any event, you may want
to call the local Tickmaster in your area and ask if they have
additional information.
