The one I recommend is 'The Wire'. It's not strictly IDM, but covers new and interesting music, and is not full of bullshit like the dance music magazines are. Every now and then it has really interesting articles, like Autechre and Panasonic who have both been the main articles. There's also Magic Feet and Jockey Slut, but I don't know anything about these 'cos I aint read 'em. -Ed

I second that motion.. i literally read it from cover to cover every month, we used to have two magazines that began with the word wire... but sadly we only have one intelligent read a month now ;) Seriously the wire will introduce you to music you dont get to hear much about anywhere else. -- k.F

Wire is indeed an excellent publication; I would only caution that it gets to be a, err, rather expensive habit. ;) -arjun http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~arjun

oh god yes!... especially if you start buying everything on Impulse or Ash International or whatever... it also gives you the afliction of going into a record shop, looking through the racks for a bit, going to counter, asking if theyve got ******* (fill in as neccesary..) and repeat cycle times 6 without any result! -- k.F
