there's "house" remix of a song by This Mortal Coil -- "Song to the Siren," with Elizabeth Fraser and Robin Guthrie -- that probably dates from the early 1990s. it's not much more than the original song with a dance beat laid down alongside it. however, i have wanted to know where this remix comes from since i first heard it. does anyone know label, artist, etc.? or is it just included on a 12" of the song as one of the tracks? does anyone have a catalogue number for it (i'd assume it would be on 4AD). please respond privately -- loudgrl@earthlink.net. thanks, olivia banner

Dj Shadow is touring again and this time (for the first time) he's playing live. He has a date here in LA with De La Sould and Jeru the Damija soon at the House of Blues. Might might want to check out http://www.ticketmaster.com for a date near you. -Gonzi
