hello can anyone provide any further info on Control Panel? he is the guy from His Name Is Alive, i have heard, doing instrumental/experimental electronic stuff... I was lucky enough to fall upon the 12" called _Control Panel 02_. This is the work of Warren Defever, I am not completely sure if Davin Brainard from Time Stereo Records is involved in this or not. It is his electronic side project. I highly recommend anything this guy does. From the 100 years record that came out on Lo a while ago, to his new Time Stereo record, to the newer HNIA material, scoop it all up.

It is funny how distance changes peoples perception of things. To me it is just this weird guy who lives a couple minutes away from my house, making weird noises. He is a musical genius though, and he is from Livonia too!

You might try the Record Collector, which is a shop that he has very close ties with. There will be a very good chance that you will be able to get ahold of anything obscure from his back catalogue there. They usually have a good supply of his catalogue that they get directly from him. You can call them at: (248)473-8350 I am not sure what their mail order policy is, but you should try there first.
