Check out Meditation YS's "Slumber" (apollo #14) by Yoshiihiro Sawasaki, he also has a track on the Apollo 2 comp. which is also excellent. He has also released some stuff on a Japanese label thats partly based out of the U.S. called Sublime which puts out excellent releases. Particularily good is the "Plantation" 2*12 put out by Ringo who is Susumo Yokota, who also put out the Frankfurt-Tokyo Connection release on Harthous a while back. Sublime's distributed by Deep Dist. (? ph#) or can be reached at: Tokyo - ph# 36-17-,202, fax# +81-(0)3-3780-7780 Udagawa-cho Sibuya-ku Tokyo 150 Japan U.S.A. - Fax# 213-469-5624 Hope this helps q out Any other suggestions??? *-**--***---****--*****---******---*******--******---*****--****---***--**-* Quentin and Nicole *-**--***---****--*****---******---*******--******---*****--****---***--**- *

For some real fun, check out _Ukiyo_, a collaboration between Japanese noise-meisters Aube and Phillipe Fichot of Die Form. Lots of noise, slow wiry techno beats & noises, and some crazy Japanese singing. Not exactly IDM, but I had to find some excuse to talk about it. ObIDM: For those of you who loved Paul Schutze's Uzect Plaush album on Apollo and have been waiting for the 2nd one, it's out on Beyond under the name Seed. Apollo turned down Uzect Plaush 2 as "too abstract". Haven't heard it, but have heard it's good. --Seofon

Does this mean it's an album called "Seed" by Uzect Plaush, or it is a Paul Schutze record under the project name "Seed"? (And if the latter, what is the title?) - Greg
