Future Music have only ever given away 1 tape, and there was no Woob track on that.
What you are looking for is Future Music CD no. 2, which came free with issue 12.
To make things a bit more complicated the actual review of Woob's demo tape was in
issue 10. The trackon the CD is called Planet and is about 4 1/2 mins long.
As to it's quality , considering that it's done on just a Korg M1, and an Akai S950,
it's pretty amazing really, but remember it is only a demo.
I recon I'd play this out, even if it is a bit rough (cheers for reminding me, I'm
gonna have to go through all my FM CDs to see if there's any more cool stuff)
Why not order the magazine from Future Music, check their WWW pages at somewhere
like
http://www.futurenet.co.uk, or something like that.
Some facinating facts about woob, that I've just read in my old issue of Future
Music:
1 Started at 15, in a band called my pet goosebury, which after comingn 4th in a TSB
Rockschool comp disbanded.
2 Went to college with Brian Dougans (aka 1/2 of FSOL) and used to write jingles together
for student productions.
3 Name is Paul Franklin
4 Started a degree in film and video (It doesn't explain this and so I don't know if he
finished it)
5 Don't know whether this is still correct (mag from Oct 93)
