It's really hard to keep with the amount of independant labels and such. I didn't want to expand too much on the UK labels, it's hard keeping up with what is what. Deconstruction, along with Arista, are labels distributed by BMG (RCA). Were you asked about the derivation of certain labels, because some of the labels and their owners taht you mentioned were a little off. There are only a few major labels (6 distributors: WEA, CEMA, BMG, UNI, PDG, and Sony). The labels are thereby utilized through the distributors. Each distributor only had usually about 3 - 6 major lables, whcih in turn would own other labels. For instance, Reprise owned by Warner Bros. -Tyson
