Just got the new releases from Astralwerks: On May 2nd they are releasing the Far Out Son of Lung and the Ramblings of a Madman single (CD and 12"). Tracks: Far Out Son of Lung and the Ramblings of a Madman Snake Hips Smokin' Japanese Babe Amoeba Tracks 1 and 3 are on ISDN, but 2 and 4 aren't. At a lit price of $7.98 for the CD and $5.98 for the 12", it's probably worth it to pick up the extra tracks. And of course, if you didn't get ISDN, you can at least get a sampling with this release. I was under the impression that the original release was UK disguised as a Japanese import - or was it actually pressed in Japan? BTW, this is my favorite FSOL to date - very "I" and both more adventerous and more coherent than Lifeforms. True (CAT# smokin 94 A 02 01), but the track listings on this one are different

Well, as the trainspotters will know :), the Far Out Son Of Lung single was released last year in the UK (before ISDN) on a white vinyl 12". Interesting that this featured a different track list to the 'new' release: ramblings of a madman zeebox are they fighting us smokin' japanese babe It also says smokin' 94 on the label in the same font as the track listing, but I think this is the catalog number ! Jon
