Did the Speedy J and Evolution records come out on Warp? I thought G Spot was an R&S release. The Theory of Evolution is in the new TVT catalog along with the new Nightmares on Wax, supposedly out this month. I heard Seefeel had signed to EastWest in the US. Weren't people bitching about the domestic Ventolin a while back? Maybe that was on another list. If it is out domestically, don't expect it to be the same as the UK release. The chances of that are quite slim. When does the Link record come out? einexile

Might you or someone recommend a good mail order resource for Warp imports? The store I've been using is taking longer and longer to get stuff in. A nice selection of World Serpent, R&S, and FAX wouldn't hurt, either. I realize this is probably in a faq somewhere. I have a few of these; I'm just sick of calling places and either they don't have anything in, they don't think it's out, don't know what the hell it is, or they're going to take two weeks to get the junk to me. If I want to wait that long I will order everything from TVT, or just wait for it to all get reissued on Rhino. So just to make myself clear: a place I can call tomorrow, order the new Seefeel, Speedy J, Link, and Death in June, and have them by the end of the week, plus not filled up with dust from the broken mailer envelope. Or am I being unreasonable? thanks, einexile

1 week is pretty hard to come by for mail order, ear-rational gets it to me in about 2 weeks. when i need it fast i just go and buy it, mail order is for big orders. sung - -- (mRay) z943159@corn.cso.niu.edu

All release dates and track listings for *all* WARP releases, well into April are on my page. (Think IDM needs a a good FAQ!) http://www.ncl.ac.uk/~n264671/wap-indx.html or if your in the US try the mirror there (not as up to date obviously) http://hyperreal.com/music/labels/warp/wap-indx.html

Was it ever established if _Spanners_ is coming out domestically, or should I just buy the import already?

It's out. I doubt if it'll come out domestically, though... - Matthew

I don't think it's coming out domestically, and no, you should not buy the import.

This is just a single, though. Wasn't a full album due? It'll probably be a lot of remixes of Funk in the Fridge with the titles changed, anyway. einexile

Hi, Speedy J.'s G-Spot has been released on Beam me up (The Netherlands) Warp (UK #27) Plus 8 (Canada) Novamute (i guess) (USA) Sony (Japan) Evolution ain't on Warp at all. Its out on New Electronica/Beechwood. Their complication albums Agenda 21 & 22 are very nice. If you like fine experimental atmospheric techno you should buy this stuff :-) Have a look at Greg Eden (G303) home page http://www.ncl.ac.uk/~n264671 Very nice job Greg :-) Or at the home page of the Lowlands mailinglist http://www.xs4all.nl/~tv99ad/lowlands.html Yes Hans I like it a lot too. the import. What if I'm a Black Dog fan? Why shouldn't I buy the import if it's not coming out domestically? Anyway, I've heard from 2 different sources that it is coming domestic, so unless someone has some clearcut info I'm going to wait a while and see. From what I've heard better than aagh....it's better than Transparent Balls but maybe not quite as good as Bytes...but may be better...I'll need to listen to it a few times. Definately a reccomedable album if you like Black Dog generally.... (is recommendable a word?) Tony
