This thread brings to mind one great morning on our radio show (plug time:)2am-6am sundaze 90.3 wzbc (tune in @11pm saturday to catch sasha) ANYWAY! There were some raggamuffin friends of the breaks dj's in the studio...when started dropping tracks like _Sharp Shooting on Saturn_ they bugged and grabbed the mic and started freestylin some sunrise rhymes. I tried to stay on the same tip and reached for the Selected Works 1.... Ageispolis "damn" was the first word from the kid as the bass dropped i actually have the whole thing on tape Teep

More on techno rap... Um, not EXACTLY the same thing, but along the same lines...what about JUNGLE??? Ya know, reggae vox over breaks. Seems to me that's but a step away from rappin' over techno. :) Last month, I was at a local rave (transcendence 2), and Joe from 1.8.7 was MC-ing over dj Dieselboy's breaks/jungle set. More than once, Joe went off on a little reggae-rap...sounded sweet. Just a note- Jim . . . . <skoop+@pitt.edu>:DaTaMaTiON/project.flux.95('repetition.is.a.form.of.change')

Does anyone remember MC Tunes? Cool stuff on ZTT. I've even got some MC Tunes vs. 808 State that are better then any of the 808 stuff I've ever heard (besides Newbuild). Cool reggae type breaks with a thick english rap style. -robert ______________________________________________*AudioElectronic*_____ "If BOTH the SAW and the PULSE switches are on, sonic explorers \ then both sawtooth and pulse waves are selected. \ This combination creates an extremely fat sound." I'm not a fan of rap, but Moby's rap on Alan Wilder's Recoil was really good. It was a good marriage between rap and some synth pounding. Later, Larry
