enough of the new album to comment? I assume you mean VROOOM! their new EP : Discipline Records DR 9401 2 I have read/heard Belew and Levin say that this was recorded during the initial 3-week rehearsals of the new double-trio. Its pretty fun stuff, although you can kind of tell that it was conceived and thrown together quickly ( particularly when adrian yells out "dead stop 1-2-3-4" at the end of a jam. ) It is still quite enjoyable due to the bands considerable resources. Its definitely not dance music - but it is intelligent music. IMHO, King Crimson lays quite a claim to the crown of "the only Rock band that matters".

if you really want all the details of this new release contact elephant talk the robert fripp email news sheet......folks there have been busy listening and analysing for several weeks now......details to follow E L E P H A N T T A L K The Internet newsletter for Robert Fripp and King Crimson enthusiasts Number 158, Friday, 25 November 1994 Today's Topics: Drumming on VROOOM Getting ahold of VROOM Criticism of VROOOM (esp. Thrak) My thoughts on Vrooom are irrelevant but I thought my 4 year old son summed it up pretty well. I was playing the disk fairly loud when he came into the room and said "Ahh, Papa, this is scary music!" I couldn't have put it better myself! Long live Vrooom...
