Hufff, hhuuuf, pufff, pant, pant...just got back from lunch hour. I went down to the shoppe and sitting there, smiling at me was the new Vibert/Simminds doublpack : ) I picked it up and flew home in the impala to give it a quick once-over. First impressions are quite good : ) Thats all I can say. It was a real brief listen. Anyways, here's the track listing: AI - Tinned Teardrop AII - Mevdonique AIII- Path T'Zoar BIV - Reservoir CV - (This Can) Robotic CVI - Indel Rooks CVII - Aple DVIII - Thing Bounces Back DIX - WEIRS DX - Submarine DXI - Chamber No.364 On another note, the new Foul Play Vol 4 on Moving Shadow is quite lovely in a smooth luscious jungle kind of way. right. i just got back from montreal where jungle ruled the decks for a good six hours (before tiga kicked in the .t.r.a.n.c.e.) i heard some of the most soulfull AND syncopated original british hardcore. i actually found myself with a whistle in my mouth and a lighter in the sky. one time! but that stuff pales in comparison to the golden palomino-terre thaemlitz remixes putting joy in my heart. Gun/Little Suicides is a track brimming with sweet soulful <reversedb> vocals. terre just may steal the show from this super troup. check the *G.P.* section in a store near you, even the big guns will have this one.
