nope, it's not. but it's inside the booklet as the center spread. the cover is the
same girl holding a sea anemone in her hand.

there's no credit for that particular picture, but all the other booklet
pictures are either by FSOL or Buggy G. Riphead and the center picture looks a
lot more like the BGR stuff than the FSOL stuff.
the cover picture on Cascade is taken from the video, which is directed by Buggy
G. Riphead, so i assume he made that cool tentacled creature.

i don't know about "mutilated and botched" but Ms Fraser is not on the album, if
that's what you're asking.

i believe our on-line Astralwerks pals told us that it had something to do with
the Cocteaus' label demanding that Virgin (FSOL's label) allow them to release
some Meatloaf/Peter Gabriel track as a single.
apparently FSOL and/or Virgin were hoping to put out Lifeforms eventually but it
sounds from recent reports like it just isn't going to happen at this point.

The album version doesn't sound obviously edited in any way, I'm sure it's just
an alternate mix without the vocals. Toni Halliday is on a different track altogether.
