This is odd. I've never had a problem with *any* of their pressings (I've got at least a dozen at this point). Everything I've gotten from SubMerge so far has sounded pretty good, vinyl-quality wise. _Very_ little of their stuff ever makes it to CD, I'm afraid. I've only ever seen the "Escape from the Void" comp.
