Actually, I'd really like to know.
I hear all of these great remixes of an artist and wonder how they tweak/separate vocals and whatnot from the rest of the track to modify.
I can see how if an artist asks another specifically to remix his/her track that they probably will offer the original multitrack mix.
But, how about those white label artists and others who seemingly tweak individual sounds apart from another on their offered remixes?
