it's not rubbish... but i don't think it's worth a... what... fifty dollar
purchase? is that what the special edition costs?
i dunno... there were a couple pretty brilliant moments, but overall i am
pretty bored by it.
i guess it just depends on how much you like autechre just totally being
autechre.
a friend who also listened to it three times today said this, "it sounds
like they just sit in the studio getting high and jamming, and then they cut
sections out and call them songs."
there is a bit of randomness and lack of attention to detail in a lot of
it... i feel. this is just my opinion, you know? folks love autechre. i will
probably listen to it a few more times.
