If you are heavily focussed on one application, the deciding factor
for intel over PPC is whether your application has a universal binary
either out now or on the way, or your performance will suffer.
iMovie is universal and I guess there's Final Cut Studio in universal
binary now if imovie is too wimpy, but if there's other commercial
apps you'll depend on, check with the vendor.
