i reccomend the Iriver, i got mine about six months ago and its performed like a champ. you can use it with any system as it just plugs in and acts a removable hard drive, it can play pretty much every audio format, with a firmware upgrade you can watch movies on it. you can read books on it, it has a built in radio if you ever need that thing, and my favorite feature is that it has an input that allows you to record directly to MP3. i take it to shows with me all the time jack it in and go home with 320kb mp3's of the performances. there is also the internal mic that is good for taking to places and using to record stuff for later sampling, sort of thing. oh yeah, it also has a photo viewer. downsides are that the interface is -slightly- clunky, but once you get used to it its fine. and i don't so much like its random play feature works. josh23 On Tue, 23 Aug 2005 16:13:08 +0100, Ant Mann wrote
