every track is an original song (or a remix) by me, chopped down to
their individual parts, mixed/matched&arranged live, the skill and
quality (or lack thereof) of which is dependant on how "on top of it" i
am during that gig.
any performance of any track will have the harmonic basis from the
original song, but the arrangement, beats, cuts and progression of the
song will vary wildly. i could condone strictly to locked down movements
of tracks but what
is the point in that?
would you believe that everytime i do a set, my mood and condition have
total control over what is going on. what i can guarantee are wildly
jumping levels, the eagerness to try and wring something else out of old
tracks, and take things further. it doesnt necessarily work that way, as
there is
no way to pre-listen, what you hear is what im doing, or trying to
accomplish.
anyway, i dont pretend these are perfect recordings and that there are
no mistakes. if you want to hear it like it is "supposed" to go, listen
to the record. if its an unreleased track, too bad ;)
if you are shocked by the quality of the recording(s), then, by all
means, bring your own recording equipment to a gig (and don't forget to
provide me with a copy(!!)).
