keeping the tradition of noise alive is essential to IDM and to all electronic music. It helps with the advancement of synthesis and the advancement of sound in general. If people didn't have an intrest in new sound then new synthesis would not be created. If it wasn't for micro-sound granulizer synthesizers would not have been made and Geogaddi would have sounded a lot different.
