I often use my iPod as a convenient means of moving music from my Mac at
home to my PC at work. That's cross-platform enough for me. I've even
used my iPod as a backup hard drive for my PC. The biggest
cross-platform issue I've run into is that PC's never seem to have a
firewire port.
