Hey Morgan, coda27, and everybody,
This has been going on for a while every year or so. If you need to
unsubscribe just feel free to do it, it's the first hit on google when you
type in IDM mailing list <
http://music.hyperreal.org/lists/idm/>. I don't
think you're that digitally impaired if you are able to send an email.
If you don't want to bother yourself with a google search, here are the
links to unsubscribe:
Normal Version Unsubscribe - idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org
Digest Version Unsubscribe - idm-digest-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org
All you need to do is to send a blank email to the above addresses. I'm
about to do it for you actually.
I think we would all be grateful if this kind of requests came to an end.
We could all peacefully enjoy our thing.
Also, don't hesitate to share your music findings, I'm sure we would all
benefit from your messages, as we probably are all music lovers *in general*.
This mailing list also belongs to you in a way, so feel free to broaden the
scope, or to share on a weekly basis the music you enjoyed.
Yes, there is some self-promotion, and so what? How does this differ from
you opening any social media and getting spammed with ads every 3 posts,
except there are big companies behind, aggressively targeting your ass on
behalf on the events you log in on their servers several times a day, which
are getting through their recommendation algos? Just do what you need to do
at some point.
Best,
