I'm about 3/4 of the way through Nelson Algren's "Man with the Golden
Arm." It inspired me to go buy more, so after that's finished I'll
be working on "Never Come Morning" and then I'll see if I can find
"Walk on the Wild Side" which is supposed to be his best stuff.
He won the first national book award. Tis a shame that he's starting
to be eclipsed by time.
