I would have to say MD. They are cheaper and have great sound quality. There
are alot of choices when it comes models of MD recorders and field recording
on them is really nice. They are small and durable, mine has taken alot of
beatings and lived through it. Try to test both mediums out and find the one
that is right for you in the long run.
