i'd recommend some of the stuff on playhouse, perhaps. i don't really count
BPMs so i have no guarantees that it falls within your criteria. it's got
the funky-house crossover thing but is still generally weird enough to fit
within a techy house set: losoul, etc. lately i've been fascinated by
farben, whose tracks are very technical but still funky in spots (check out
the "beautone" 12" within the starbox, though the whole box is essential
listening). benjamin wild's release on forcetracks is really good, too.
curious though as to why you are always inquiring on the IDM list about
house music? seems like a mismatch.... and 80% of the records you mention
all the time (glenn underground, for example) have minimal relevance at
best... on usenet there's a variety of house forums that you could probably
get a lot of recommendations from househeads. (alt.music.house,
rec.music.funky, to name a few) i'm sure these would be of more use to you
since the people who post there know more directly about that sort of thing.
