I doubt that anyone can pass a blindtest on 16 bit and 24 bit audio no
matter what! It makes sense to mix and master with a high bit rate but not
to listen to: 16 bit is enough to reproduce a loudness range going from the
inaudible to sounds that causes ear damage.
