Did you miss the part where I said "I just checked, and it loaded fine"?
In fact, I just checked AGAIN, and it loaded fine AGAIN.
The site is definately online. There's probably just some weirdness going
on with some DNS tables or something. Perhaps they moved to a different ISP
on the weekend - it often takes a couple of days for such changes to
propagate over the whole Internet.
So to reiterate - www.pitchforkmedia.com is online right now. A news update
was posted today. They are not dead.
