I've always wondered how Autechre actually work together, they must
really have to be on the same wavelength. I really don't know how you
could describe something that's that abstract that's in your head to
someone else. In the olden days it was easier coz it was like:
Paul: "Ok I'll do the guitar part."
Ringo: "Ok I'll do the bloody drums again."
which was much simpler than:
Sean: "Ok I'll do the crunchy wusk-wusk-greagghkuurg-gurrgle-guggle part."
Rob: "Ok, I'll write a program that randomly generates the
plip-click-clickity-plip-plip part."
Any people who work in pairs on the list care to shed any light on how
they go about composing?
