What makes music represent anything? It's all in what the artist wants. If the artist says "this here reprazents my lifestyle" then it does. IF the artist says "this doesn't represent me, I just make it because I like the sounds," then that's true too. Music nearly always represents the artist, which is why there is so much boring music :D So if someone who labels themselves first and foremost as a christian, like, say, the horrible rock band "Creed," then the music and art they create can be labelled "christian." Same with "ghetto" and "eastern" and so on. If someone labels themselves as a "nerd," then they're making nerd music. derek --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
