Believe what you want... It doesn't really figure that he just uses a
sampler, if he does then technically speaking he must spend weeks
accumulating his works

Sound design software is most difficult when using CSound - It is all text
based... The (for me) best program + probably the most powerful is MAX/MSP.
Most older sound designers I know use anything from basic sequencing in
Logic to editing tools such as sound maker or soundhack
It really depends on how innovative the individual wants to be.
