or is there a vintage NFB-feel to PBS? anyway, whilst not
particularly IDM these days the old animationa nd sound was stellar,
as was the song for Hinterland Who's Who. The NFB of Canada have been
producing award winning shorts (quick, "Bermuda or swimming ?" joke
goes here) for years and years and years. I recall reading somewhere
that Mike & Marcus both lived in the prairies, i think in manitoba
and saskatchewan (that's in canada, folks) while they were growing
up, hence the influence. but then again, Aphex makes all of his own
synths, right? ;]
