Just a few words....I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of most of the
live sets here this year.
I was blown away by Todd Sines - yow!! Maersk was very nice; Thad Mullinex
(sp?) was great. (since I don't want to get back into an Ae thread, I'll
leave that comment out :-). Nice experimantal/IDM count this year indeed -
the addition of Kit Clayton didn't hurt anything either :-)
Although I wanted to comment more on the idm side of things, I have to say
that Titonton Duvante's set was stellar - as was Shake's. Too bad there
were so many sound sanfus for Strand as what I could hear sounded real
nice. Looking forward to more today. I think one of the hardest things here
is being entranced by a set (whether spun or live - or both!) and realizing
that there's someone a hundred or so yards away you really want to see whom
you might not get to see again.
