you have a small head eh? what about those of us with huge fatheads? ~8) how are those noise-reduction phase-cancellation headphone jobbies? i hear they induce nausea... i need some new headphones too. i have these.. let's see... uhh.. JVC cheapy things i got at best buy for 20 bucks like 5 years ago. sound pretty damn good :D no bass anymore, though, and the vinylish covering over the felt is starting to wear off. i'm looking at the possibility of getting some good ones that don't weight a ton, don't look stupid, and sound good. it sounds like most of the recommendations so far fit snuggly underneath the $100 barrier... is that the predominant case for pretty good headphones nowadays? any minidisc recommendations for under $200? (off list perhaps?) the new richard devine mini-album is quite good. so's the new autechre peel sessions. i think the reason no one's talking about them is because we all know we already bought these by now... heh cheers, /derek - - - - - Alice could not help her lips curing up into a smile as she began: "Do you know, I always thought Unicorns were fabulous monsters, too! I never saw one alive before!" "Well, now that we HAVE seen each other," said the Unicorn, "if you'll believe in me, I'll believe in you. Is that a bargain?" --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
