OH YEAHHH. Get the Bebel Gilberto record, with production from Amon
Tobin and Thievery Corporation, though the sparer guitar and voice
stuff is IMHO better than the electronica-influenced tracks.

I heard some stuff in Detroit last summer that blew me away -- don't
know what it's called but it's a fresh take on the 60's and 70's bossa
nova/samba sound, only structured more for dancefloors. That stuff
was out cold. too bad i don't know who did it!
