As a matter of fact, you're right. But I digress.
This is totally a matter of opinion. If you like
their newer stuff better, that's cool. I hope they
keep putting out records. But I also hope they find a
sound that's a little more memorable.
Each song on Tri Repetae has its own character and
style. Tracks on the new albums (especially EP7) all
sound the same to me. I guess they're alright to
listen to, but I usually take the cd out after about
the eighth or ninth track because it's so damn boring
and directionless.
They've certainly proven they're influential. There
ARE a lot of bands who copy their older sound. But
I've heard very little imitation of LP5 or EP7.
