don't get me wrong, i'm a huge autechre supporter, but what exactly makes
you think the clinical hammering of beats and smuggled away tiny melodies
are intelligent? i think post-lp5 stuff got more and more less "intelligent"
because of the almost complete dissapearance of melody, lack of general
complexity and drawn out ideas.
i don't claim i do not like what they're doing now, but i see it as less
challenging and quite predictable to listen to their new tracks (it's good
to blow stereos and shock people or just to get decapitated by furious
headbanging) and i'm actually sure their newest stuff will be way more
"intelligent", -if you mind calling it like that- because they will
definately give it this ae touch, later, which used to make life so good.
