sheesh. IDM == Too Much Attitude. now to answer that chap's question, which, after six postings, hasn't barely been addressed. so much for S/N. I don't know all details for certain, but I've seen photos of them playing live with an Alesis MMT-8 sequencer running an Ensonic ASR(-10?) sampler, which, I think, is supposedly one of the few samplers in which you can alter/modulate a sample's start- and/or end-points (or perhaps loop points) whilst the sample is playing. They are also reputed to be heavy users of Roland R8 and 606, as well as Yamaha DX100--this at least for their early stuff (I'm pretty sure that all the rich bass tones on Incunabula are DX100). I doubt that they're using any of this stuff anymore however, I'd bet that they're all into software and laptops and such... -JimG <skoop@slackers.net> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
